Dirk Steller

Founder and Managing Partner

Dirk is the Founder and Managing Partner of Seed Space Venture Capital. Dirk guides the strategic direction of the company across all aspects of its management, including investment strategy, partnerships, investor relations, risk management, compliance and fund performance.

Dirk is a highly experienced finance and wealth professional with demonstrated achievements in managing the finances of some of the world’s largest international organisations. With a dynamic background, Dirk has been instrumental in commercial and strategic roles guiding both the public and private sectors spanning wealth management, government and financial technology verticals.

Will Lawson


Will is a Partner at Seed Space Venture Capital and sits on the firm’s Investment Committee.

Will has 30+ year’s experience in the financial services sector, and has held senior roles across trading, portfolio management, sales, management and advisory functions. He has worked for leading international investment banks (UBS and Credit Suisse) and domestic banks (NAB and St George) as well as with Australia’s largest independent stockbroking and wealth management firm (Morgans). His portfolio management expertise covers equities, fixed income, property, foreign exchange and derivatives.

Will is a creative and lateral thinker with an innate ability to quickly reconcile investment risk and potential opportunity. With extensive portfolio management capability and a deep understanding of the entire capital raising process, he brings a breadth of knowledge and experience to the evaluation of all our investment opportunities.

Tobias Snoad


Tobias is a Partner at Seed Space Venture Capital. Tobias leads the technology and data analytics components of the firm.

With a strong background in the technology sector spanning over 15+ years, Tobias has extensive experience in software development and data analysis.

He brings a vast range of experience in statistics, behavioural economics, information security and electrical engineering to the firm. Tobias has a passion for nurturing all projects from inception to success.

Tobias is also passionate about driving social change through entrepreneurship, innovation and advancement of technology.

Murray Chatfield

Advisor and Investment Committee Member

Murray is an experienced company director and chief operating officer with over 30 years of experience working in the financial services industry in a number of countries government, agriculture, mining and IT. Skilled in investor relations, market risk, operational structures, securities trading, asset management, and fund of funds. He has managed the set up of funds including all structures, regulatory, operational and trading systems. He has created significant input into service industries, agriculture mining and IT companies through various stages in their development. Murray completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Agriculture, Economics and Marketing) at Lincoln University and then a Master of Business Administration (MBA) focused in Finance from Cass Business School, London, Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD) and an Associate of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (AACT)

Mark Grosser

Advisor and Investment Committee Member

Mark has worked in a broad range of business areas including: systems management, project management, product development process management and marketing management. His career has spanned a number of industries including: healthcare, education, capital management and finance, hospitality, distribution and high technology. As the leader of his group of businesses he has taken an active role in developing partnerships, business development and program management. Mark’s specialties cover product development, medical, pharmaceuticals, distribution systems, business intelligence, software development process and practice, education innovation, entrepreneurship, rapid product development, mechatronics, project management, product data management, industrial design. Mark completed a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Commerce at Queensland University of Technology.
